France Télévisions renews its trust in MBT as part of the project to upgrade its Overseas broadcasting center

As part of the strategic Campus project, France Télévisions is bringing together its units – including the overseas channels – at its headquarters in Paris. This major undertaking includes the creation of a new broadcasting center that will produce and oversee the transmission of the 9 Overseas channels (Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion, Mayotte, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, and Wallis and Futuna).

MBT is proud to have been selected to support this large-scale transformation by delivering two key components:

  • Phoenix Playout, our advanced playout automation solution;
  • Sphere MAM, our media asset management system, which will be merged with the existing MAM of the CDE.

Phoenix Playout continues to evolve as part of this project to meet the specific needs of key broadcast actors like France Télévisions, in line with our philosophy of tailored adaptation. The multi-client interface will be further optimized to enhance coordination between channels and streamline operational workflows.

The new setup will support the broadcasting of 9 channels from the Outre-mer La Première network, all secured with full main/backup redundancy, as well as 3 contribution channels.

The MBT team.
