With Phoenix Alert, you supervise all your channels through a multichannel User Interface.

This unique user interface disposes of a time line that displays alerts and specific counters for each channel.

There are different kind of alerts that can be configured.
The most common alerts are :

  • Live Alert (countdown warning the playout operator that a live starts in X minutes or seconds)
  • Commercial break Alert (countdown warning the playout operator that a commercial break starts in X minutes or seconds)
  • Alert for advertising quota errors
  • Non-broadcastable program with a countdown of x minutes or seconds before going on air
  • Missing file on one of the video servers with a countdown of x minutes or seconds before going on air
  • Size problem on the video server with a countdown of x minutes or seconds before going on air

 

 
 

 

The user can also select a line (PEV) on the Playlist Monitor client and set a 'reminder '. In addition to the Phoenix Alert warning, a clock icon will appear on the concerned line of the playlist.
There are different ways to alert the playout operators. There are visual alerts: red flashes on the timeline and a clock icon on the programs. There are audio alerts with different voices for each alert type and each channel and there are pop-up windows that need to be validated by the operator.
In one glance, you know what is happening on every channel that is On Air. You can even configure your own alerts.
With Phoenix Alert, you are completely in control of every channel that is broadcasted.
